As the first female Kukpi7 of the Skwlax te Secwepemculecw community, I am focused on fostering inclusive governance that listens to and respects every voice.

 I was born and raised on the Secwepemc territory. I am a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother with a lifelong commitment to the SteS community. I feel I bring extensive leadership experience as a former councilor and a long-term employee dedicated to serving our people. 

I believe our Nation must move forward with a strong community endorsed plan­ built by our people, for our people. This plan will reflect our values, voices, and vision. It will guide how we protect our lands, raise our children, support our Elders, strengthen our economy, and preserve our language and culture. This is more than a plan, it’s about standing strong as Secwepemc and making sure our voice leads the way.
